{"id":183,"date":"2008-12-19T13:35:03","date_gmt":"2008-12-19T20:35:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eatdrinkrunwoman.com\/?p=183"},"modified":"2008-12-19T13:35:03","modified_gmt":"2008-12-19T20:35:03","slug":"my-12-month-memes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eatdrinkrunwoman.com\/?p=183","title":{"rendered":"My 12-month MEMEs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"Coffee Betsy\" href=\"http:\/\/coffeebetsy.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Coffee Betsy<\/a> posted a 12-month meme on her blog and since I&#8217;m too lazy to write a post from scratch, I decided to follow her lead.\u00a0 Just for fun I&#8217;ve also included the 12 months from 2007 (although the first couple of months are from fitness postings on my Ovens to Betsy blog since EDRW wasn&#8217;t launched until April 2007).<\/p>\n<p>My story for 2008:<\/p>\n<p>January &#8212; Boy, some gung-ho runner I am.<\/p>\n<p>February &#8212; I\u2019ve been playing a numbers game.<\/p>\n<p>March &#8212; This week\u2019s theme is flexibility, though not in my body.<\/p>\n<p>April &#8212; Well folks, this is gonna be a tough post to write.<\/p>\n<p>May &#8212; Not today.<\/p>\n<p>June &#8212; Although technically my taper officially started a week ago, I feel my true taper started after my BUAL\u2122 workout on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>July &#8212; It\u2019s not wise to do lunges, squats and wall sits on day you\u2019ve scheduled a 9-mile VO2max workout with six 800-meter sprints.<\/p>\n<p>August &#8212; I get home from work today, logged onto one of my running forums and saw the following announcement:\u00a0 &#8220;The newest Rock n Roll marathon is in Seattle on June 27, 2009. If you go to http:\/\/www.rnrseattle.com\/ today August 5, you can register for half price!
