Can’t get no respect
So I just checked the results from the Arlington “Walk & Roll” 10K and was surprised to see someone listed as the top female, 40-49. Turns out they have me listed as a male!!! (Although my time qualified me as the No. 3 male in that age group). There were 41 runners this year; I was No. 13 overall.
They might have the results listed incorrectly, but they can’t take that blue ribbon away from me!
May 3 update — I’m back to being a female again!

“Can’t get no respect”? Welcome to life as a man. You’re in terrible company. But at least now you can scratch or spit wherever or whenever you want.

Ah….how do they get “male” from the name Betsy?

I’m sure the guy who THOUGHT he was the No. 3 male in the 40-49 age group was wondering, who the hell is this Betsy dude? However, I received a very nice email from someone from the Arlington Runners Club who said he’d have a “harsh talk” with his disobedient fingers! (Apparently there were a lot of typos).

Hehehe. Does this mean you don’t have to wait in line for the bathroom any more? Ooh, ooh! You don’t have to shave your legs too! Think of how much time in your day you are going to save now!
